I am a twenty something writer and human factors engineer by day, lifestyle and wedding photographer in the Chicago area by night...er and all my other spare time.
I enjoy kayaking on the lake, traveling, and reading all kinds of love stories. I married my high school sweetheart and we are the proud parents of four cats, one cattle dog, and a whole lot of target halloween coffee mugs.
My passion for photography started at a young age and I was the kid running around high school football games and dances with a press pass proudly pinned on my shirt or hiding away in the computer lab to play on photoshop.
In addition to photography, I love to capture REAL love stories-- the day to day silliness, the awkward laughs in between poses, the candids as you realize all your loved ones are in the same room. My utmost priority on your wedding day is to focus on you and your partner.
In addition to wedding and lifestyle photography, I do product and brand photography as well as stock photography. In 2024, I will launched ORCHID by SHP, which is boudoir and body positivity focused.

Do I have business insurance?
Yes! If specifics are needed from your venue, please let me know and I am happy to provide information.
Can You Give Me Information on Contracting, Securing a date, and Payment information?
Dates are not considered held unless contracts are signed by both parties (clients and the photographer) and the retainer fee has been paid. I do all payments and contracts through a CMS platform called Honeybook. While I attach a sample contract / proposal here, any official contracts will come from there. I am happy to set up payment plans or do payments other ways, such as with Venmo or Zelle though, just ask during our consult!
Are there travel fees?:
No travel fees for anywhere in the Chicago / Chicagoland area OR to the NE Ohio area. After that, I charge 50 cents per mile traveled! Don't fret, I often run deals waiving these fees!
Can I take you with me abroad?
Um, of course!!!! I have a list of priority spots I would love to shoot at and places I will be in during the year that I release every year / month on my instagram! Let's chat about it!!! I love to travel!
Can I have the RAW photos from my day?
Sorry, I don't release the RAW photos from the day. Editing and post-processing are part of the artistic identiy I brand myself with when delivering your galleries! Sending you the raw files would be like you asking your baker to send you the eggs for your wedding cake! I do however, release, about 50-60 photos per hour of every hour of photography booked. Sometimes more!!
What are the estimated timelines for photo delivery?
Timeline delivery is always subjective based on the season and time of year, but the average turnaround time for weddings is about 6-8 weeks! I try to get all couples, for all sessions and events, sneak peeks within a few days though!
Do you do more than weddings and couples?
I do! I do brand photography, product photography, and if you can keep a secret, I am launching something called Orchid by SHP in 2024 which is specifically boudoir and body positivity focused ◡̈ I also do headshots and even other lifestyles such as seniors and some family.
